Colorado’s Front Range Real Estate Blog

Mark and I took a break from Denver real estate and celebrated our recent wedding anniversary!  We decided to have our special dinner at the PanAsia Bistro in Englewood, Colorado a restaurant we pass by frequently while showing homes but have never tried.  Actually, I had lunch there several years ago while trying to recruit another real estate agent from another real estate company located in Castle Rock… but never dinner. We were surprised at the lovely interior which was very elegantly appointed and decorated.  We were seated shortly after we arrived at a wonderful table which I believe is front and center of the picture to the right.

They had a great wine selection which pleased us because so often oriental restaurants do not carry extensive selections of wine.   I have to admit it was a bit slow getting our drinks but after that the service was very good.  Along with our wine, we ordered the Lettuce Wraps as an hors d’ouvre.  I had read that the PanAsia Bistro in Englewood had fabulous lettuce wraps…and they do!  Mark had never had lettuce wraps before and they were a big hit with him.

Mark chose the Tender Sizzling Beef Asian Fajitas that arrived with three ‘pancakes’ instead of flour tortillas.  I tasted a bit of one and it was delicious!  Mark loved his entrée and said that 3 ‘pancakes’ of fajitas were very filling.  I selected the Asparagus Beef Rolls which was a new dish for me.  I was served a generous number of rolls (8-10); each roll was made up of a stalk of asparagus around which beef was rolled and they were accompanied by a small bowl of a wonderful sweet au jus type of sauce to dip the rolls into and a bowl of rice.  Wonderful!  We topped off dinner with our favorite dessert of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce.

In summary, we had a wonderful time trying this “new to us” restaurant!  The setting was elegant, the service was quite good and the food was wonderful!  Mark and I highly recommend this restaurant to you, your family and friends.
