The Evergreen Park and Recreation District offers a year-round swimming pool, gymnasium, racquet and handball courts, plus other recreational facilities. Did we mention ski resorts? Some of Colorado’s most fantastic ski resorts are less than an hour away!
But right here in town, we have a superior choice: Evergreen Lake. Fed by tributaries that run along Mount Evans, the clear, fresh waters of Evergreen Lake have a wonderful reputation. The lake offers a variety of recreational activities throughout the year, including boating, fishing, birding, and ice-skating. Beautiful mountain parks with miles of trails for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and horseback riding add to the activities for all ages. It’s no wonder weddings and concerts happen here also. You can’t beat Evergreen’s mountain lifestyle and gorgeous views.
Also, in Evergreen, we offer more intimate social activities. Evergreen is home to the famous Little Bear Nightclub, a venue that plays host to nationally famous music acts as well as local talent. It has a special country charm that you must see for yourself. Unless you pay a visit to the Little Bear, you can’t really say you’ve visited Evergreen!
