You can enjoy the patriotic music played by different brass bands on Independence Day, or you could take in the talent showcases that feature some very talented youth bands and concert performers.
Folks also come to the area for athletics and outdoor activities. The Mini Ha Ha Triathlon is a popular event held every year. You can enter as an individual, a themed team or a family. The race begins with twelve laps at the Broomfield Community Center Pool. Next participants take to their bikes and ride for eleven miles before abandoning them to walk or run the two miles to the finish line. The whole family can enjoy recreational fun right here in Broomfield. There is something for everyone, including: golf courses, swimming, parks, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, athletic fields, open space and jogging trails, skate and aquatic parks, and a first class, top-of-the-line recreation center. World-class skiing is available nearby.
