Before Stapleton was a neighborhood, it was Denver Colorado's primary airport from 1929-1995. Stapleton International Airport was replaced by Denver International Airport located in the northeastern part of Denver, Colorado. All of Stapleton's International Airport has been removed except for the parking structure and the control tower which will remain in the new Stapleton neighborhood as a reminder of what use to be.
Stapleton is located just 20 minutes from the Denver International Airport and just 10 minutes from Downtown Denver. Although Stapleton is still under construction and will continue to grow, it currently has 30,000 residents, six schools, 200+ shops, restaurants and other services. The Stapleton area is also home to the third largest park in Denver, Central Park. The developers of Stapleton set aside 30% of 4,700 acres for parks and recreation, running trails and bike paths. Stapleton will be one of Denver's greenest and cleanest neighborhoods.

East 29th Avenue Neighborhood

It features offices and apartments above the retail shops which is centered around East 29th Ave Town Center.
