Denver's Cherry Creek Art Festival
Located at Cherry Creek North in central Denver real estate, Colorado's Signature Cultural Event, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, is held annually over the Fourth of July weekend.  More than 370,000 upper-tier attendees gather, including residents of nearby Denver CO homes in the prestigious Denver Country Club and Cherry Creek North neighborhoods as well as folks from Boulder CO homes to Castle Rock real estate and throughout the state and the world.

The top-rated Festival features the amazing work of 230 juried artists, 3 performance stages, 2 demonstration stages, a block of hands-on activities, special exhibitions and collections, an art auction, and samplings of the region's finest cuisine cooked up by 20 juried culinary vendors.

The 3-day Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver, Colorado in 2009 is scheduled for July 3-5.  It is the place to appreciate and purchase artwork from a variety of mediums.  Only one in ten of the artists who apply for the show are selected by the nationally assembled panel of art specialists.  Annual sales of the extraordinary selection of art exceed $2.5 million.

Managers of similar events around the world come to find out about the magic.  The successful Cherry Creek Arts Festival has received the Gold Grand Pinnacle an unprecedented four times from the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) in addition to many other acknowledgements.  It is distinguished as the top festival in its budget class worldwide.

Part of the magic exudes from the award-winning volunteer program with over 1,200 volunteers.  Local non-profit organizations are given the option to participate as retail vendors and receive up to 15 percent of the sales that are generated by their refreshment booths as proceeds for their respective organizations.  So far, more than $500,000 has been donated through this program.  Many of these non-profit partners return every year for the opportunity to get involved, to give back to their organizations, and to experience one of the Mile High City's great community events.

A non-profit itself, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival's mission is to provide access to a broad array of arts experiences and support arts education in the state.  It is an arts-services organization that offers art education and outreach programs year round in local area schools.
